Rosie Helen McLucas, 87, of Williamsport, Md., and formerly of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 at Williamsport Retirement Center.
Born Sept. 11, 1925, in Waynesboro, Pa., she was the daughter of the late David L. and Nellie G. Schopf Rhines.
She was of the Catholic faith.
She was a member of ILG Garment Workers Association in New York.
She is survived by her husband, William Gordon McLucas, married for 66 years, of Williamsport; daughter, Linda D. Dorrier and her husband, Larry, of Hagerstown; daughter, Mary L. Timmons of Hagerstown; grandson, Jason Dorrier and wife, Heather, of Clear Spring, Md.; grandson, Jared Timmons and his wife, Winnie, of South Carolina; granddaughter, Amanda Timmons of Hagerstown; great-grandson, Harrison Dorrier; and sister, Gladys Green of Hagerstown.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth Sheiss, Mary Rhines and Margaret Rhines; and three brothers Karl Rhines, John Rhines and Robert Rhines.
Funeral services will be Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, with the Rev. Randy Reid and Chaplain Josephine Benton officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Osborne Funeral Home. The funeral home will be open Sunday after 1 p.m. for the convenience of family and friends.
