Virginia Catherine Hess, 83, of Gerrardstown, W.Va., died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at City Hospital in Martinsburg, W.Va. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood, W.Va. The service will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Arnold Brown and the Rev. Craig Heironimus officiating. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
