Yvonne Miracle "Nana" Gray, 74 of Boonsboro, Md., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home, Boonsboro.
Born Feb. 10, 1939, in Miracle, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Walter Lee and Elsa (Miracle) Miracle.
She was a graduate of the George Peabody College for Teachers in Nashville, and was a substitute school teacher in Nashville and in Fairfax County Va.
She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Gray Cronise and husband, Dave, of Boonsboro; two identical twin grandsons, Spec. Richard Lee Riggs and wife, Brittany, of Boonsboro, stationed at Fort Carson, Colo., and Sgt. Christopher Aaron Riggs and fiancee, Nicole Moore, of Boonsboro, stationed at Fort Leonardwood, Mo.; three step-grandchildren, Adam Cronise and wife, Tina, formerly of Boonsboro, Joe Cronise and wife, Traci, and Dana Cronise all of Boonsboro; and three step-grandchildren, Alexis Marie LaRocca, Brennyn Grace Cronise-Dingass and Parker Chapman Cronise, all of Boonsboro.
In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joel Price Gray.
At her request, there will be no visitation.
Graveside services will be conducted Monday, March 4, 2013, at 9 a.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Dean Pryor officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 108 Byte Drive, Frederick, MD 21704; or to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
