First, please realize that if guns are outlawed, the outlaws will have guns!
What happened in Aurora, Colo., is truly a tragedy and I feel sorry for the victims, the injured, and their families.
Here is why I feel sorry for them. Did you know that in April — in Aurora — another outlaw opened fire and could have killed as many as died at the movie, but there was an off-duty police officer there who had a gun and put the outlaw down. Another example is the shooting at Fort Hood; this military base is a no-gun zone and an outlaw was able to shoot highly trained unarmed soldiers.
If we don't defend our Second Amendment rights, we all will be ducks on a pond for the outlaws with guns.
