Mail Call - Dec. 10
“Regarding the front-page Herald-Mail article of Wednesday, Nov. 28, ‘Panel favors county salary hike,’ I vehemently disagree. If the increases are based on recent performance, other than sheriff and county treasurer, the wages should be frozen at current levels, not increased by 16.7 and 21.2 percent. Millions of taxpayer dollars have been wasted by poor land and white elephant building investments that sit basically unoccupied for years. Taxpayers unite, speak out. Performance equals raises.”
