“I hear all this stuff on the news shows on TV about controversial comments about someone saying about the gay lifestyle is not right. Well, I’m not a politician or a businessman, so I can say it. God does not expect a person to lead the gay lifestyle. If you read the Bible, you’ll know that. So, and I completely agree with the Bible has never been wrong. So if you don’t like me saying that I don’t approve of the gay lifestyle, well, that’s your problem.”

“I’m calling to suggest that we have more of these cameras to catch traffic violators, the ones who run red lights and ones who speed. I think we should have a lot more of the cameras around, particularly the city, and around schools in particular, to enforce these laws. One thing it would do would be, other than the safety factor, would definitely help ... it would take some of the workload from the policemen who are out there trying to enforce the laws. I think it’d be a great idea. Put more of those cameras out there to catch the lawbreakers.”

“As a customer of Potomac Edison, out of a 13-month period on my electric bill, they’ve only read my meter four times. That’s nine months of having an estimated light bill. Could someone explain that to me, or given me a reason why? We already pay them a lot of money. So why don’t they have someone come around and read it on a regular basis? Four times out of a 13-month period.”

“Just asking anyone out there, does anybody know what you can do with old keys? I have a bunch of old keys, and don’t know whether to just throw them in the trash, or can people use them for something, or I don’t know. If anybody has an idea, let me know. Put it in Mail Call.”

“This is to the caller who gave praise to the police department for their quick action solving the crimes in Fountain Head. For your information, the mayor, and the city administrator both live in that area, so you can believe every available cop was working on solving these crimes. You can also believe that if these crimes were happening in poor neighborhoods, statistics show that they are not solved nearly as fast, if at all. As for the bank robberies, that’s the FBI. Just letting you know the facts.”

“The world view of the NRA seems to be that it would be the best of all possible worlds if every ‘responsible’ U.S. citizen entering a public space such as a suburban mall or church were required to be armed with an automatic, repeating firearm (AK-47, Bushmaster or equivalent), with multiple high-capacity clips (of nonricocheting slugs, of course) so when the ‘bad guy’ appears, they can all ‘blaze away’ and keep ‘him’ from doing too much harm.”
