“The politicians really know how to solve a problem. The new solve-all-gun-problems law will not require a person to bother with the law if they are going to pass a gun to a relative. This after a mother teaches her mentally challenged son to use her assault rifle, then he kills her, 20 children, six adults and then himself. Way to go, government. What you have to do is keep guns away from people who are crazy, not everybody in the country. Lots of luck with that.”

“Let’s take a look at special-interest groups, two of them in particular. First of all, the new perspective on the NRA. What does the NRA cost you? Does it cost you taxpayers’ dollars? No, they’re a very strong lobbyist group, and they’re very good at what they do. Now, the other one is environmentalists, another strong lobbyist group. What does that cost you? As taxpayers, they are bleeding us dry. Anything associated with environmentalist groups is costing the taxpayers.”
