"This is a response to the person calling from Hagerstown who said that what happened to the war protesters since President Obama has been in office. I would think they went the same way that the Tea Party protesters went as soon as the Republicans won their election. And where were they when George Bush was in office, spending us into a nightmare situation? Also, I would like to comment on Arizona has a right-to-carry gun law, and it didn't stop the violence there."





"I am the person who called in asking is God religious. I love the response that Waynesboro, Pa., called in, when he or she said when we get to heaven, all the name tags are cut off. I think you may have just have hit the nail on the head. Your response makes absolute sense. I really liked it."




"This is on tax increases. I see where the governor of Springfield, Ill., I guess, and the governor of California, who just got back in, Jerry Brown. He just raised taxes for the next five years for people in California. Now, that is the dumbest thing I've ever seen, because the politicians put us this way. Now you have the governor from Illinois, he's raising taxes because he thinks that's going to help ... government. It's going to hurt the state, which I hope anybody that raise taxes, it hurts the states."

"This is to the Boonsboro caller whose son became ineligible to play sports. First of all, when you go to school, getting an education is the first priority, not playing sports. Whose fault is it that he became ineligible? Gee, let's blame the teacher. Sounds like if you would look in the mirror, you would probably see some of the problems. These kids, somewhere along the line, need to be held accountable for their behavior and their actions, or lack of. Sounds like he's not getting this at home. Failing one class is not good."




"To the person who called in and wanted to know what Sen. Mikulski did for Washington County, I think should be reminded that she is a senator for the nation, and her primary interest should be the welfare of the nation, not the welfare of only Washington County."
