The Indian Springs sign also had a memorial for a veteran — that happened to be my dad — bolted onto it, and how apropos of you to pick the Fourth of July weekend to do your dastardly deed, on a weekend that should be for all military personnel. If you need the road sign, so be it, but please return the veteran’s (memorial).”

He complains about the Democratic callers are a laugh riot, with their partisan views. He’s just as bad as they are, only his views are partisan in the other direction. So he really needs to understand, when he gets a President Palin and a Republican Congress, how the country will be totally ruined, just like it was when they had all three parts of the government controlled by them under a Republican-controlled Congress and presidency and Supreme Court. We had two wars and trillions in debt.”

They have government officials, elected government officials, being accused of all kinds of things; lying, of course, is one of them, and Congress is upset because a baseball player or two lied to them? And they’re spending the taxpayers’ money on an upcoming trial for a month, because Roger Clemens supposedly lied to Congress? I think our congressmen have more important things to worry about than baseball players using steroids, and whether they lie or not. That should be left up to Major League Baseball and their governing officials.”
