I would just like to know if anybody out there would happen to know just what this has cost the taxpayers, and also like to know just how many of these kids that are standing in line to receive this food are standing there with their cell phones or iPods in their hands, and a pack of cigarettes in their back pocket. If anybody would have the answers to those questions ... again, a wonderful article, well-written, and I think maybe you should run for public office.”

“To all you callers who keep complaining about Obamacare, how it’s going to raise our taxes and fine us: If you already have insurance coverage, you’re not going to have to pay a fine, or any more taxes. You already have coverage. It’s for people who don’t have coverage and make over $10,000 a year — and a lot of them can even get waivers. For all you people who think that insurance isn’t going to keep bilking Americans and raising prices, even with or without Obamacare, are crazy.”

“This is a response to the Frederick, Md., caller, with ‘Drill, baby, drill.’ He says that President Obama cannot obstruct drilling on private land. He can obstruct that. If Obama wants to, he can stop all permits being given to anybody on private land. I can’t put an oil rig in my backyard. This Frederick caller thinks that we don’t have a brain. And also, when they drill, they sell the stuff to China and other countries. Unless you mandate to keep it in the U.S. ... and I know the oil companies are not going to be mandating keeping it in the U.S.”
