Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down - Dec. 22

Thumbs up to the Washington County Board of Commissioners, who this week decided against recommending raises of $5,000 to $7,000 for themselves as suggested by a salary commission. In a tough economy, such fiscal responsibility is to be applauded.
