Thumbs up to our utility, public service and public safety workers who served tirelessly under adverse — and dangerous — conditions to keep us safe and comfortable even as Superstorm Sandy continued to pummel our community. Even if we don’t see you at work, we know that you are always on duty behind the scenes keeping modern life operating during emergencies and on every night, weekend and holiday.
