Guest-trainers Mandy Warwick of St. Cloud, Fla. and Derrill Rothermich of El Paso, Tx., check out a baby alligator in the nursery as they participate in Gatorland's "Trainer For A Day" program. The tour gives guests a behind-the-scenes look and up-close interactions with the park's famed alligators and other animals. The guest-training program is the type of backstage activity in the tourism and theme park industry that is affected by recent legislation and court rulings regarding minors and liability waivers.
