Petoskey resident Dennis Cassidy walks with a friend¿s dog, Daisy, past the waterfront St. Francis Solanus Indian Mission Church, Monday. The morning started out cold, with temperatures in the teens, but had warmed up to the high 30s by the afternoon, offering a hint of spring, but still a far cry from the temperature of one year ago, which, according to the National Weather Service, reached 80 degrees in Pellston on March 18, 2012. More snow is in the forecast for the next few days.
