>>The team behind RPM Italian (pictured) -- Molly, RJ and Jerrod Melman as well as chef Doug Psaltis and celebrity couple Bill and Giuliana Rancic -- are at it again with RPM Steak (60 W. Kinzie St.), opening in fall or winter.

>>In late February or early March, chef Carrie Nahabedian plans to open Brindille (534 N. Clark St.), which, at 52 seats including the bar, is much smaller than Naha, the River North restaurant she's known for. "It's going to be very intimate, jewel box. A luxuriously Parisian space," she said. "Don't think bistro, brasserie, anything like that. This is going to be a modern grill room, so to speak."

-Pre-Prohibition-style cocktails are the focus at Prohibit (116 W. Hubbard St.), a sultry lounge in the same building as sister spot NV, set for a grand opening Jan. 25.
