Jan. 11: 'A Haunted House'

After Keisha (Essence Atkins) moves in with her boyfriend Malcolm (Marlon Wayans, who wrote the script), their house appears to be haunted.
What's new: The "Paranormal Activity" series has its share of laughs but usually not on purpose. The found-footage comedy "A Haunted House," which Wayans says shows what would happen if "PA" happened to a black couple, is almost always going for ridiculousness, not anything scary.
What's not: Wayans ("Don't Be a Menace ...," "Dance Flick") has long parodied well-known films, and, sorry to say, the Wayans "Scary Movie" efforts are not as funny as the non-Wayans "Scary Movie" efforts.
