( Fox / September 12, 2012 ) Chicago native Ike Barinholtz is a writer and plays nurse Morgan Tookers in Fox's new sitcom "The Mindy Project." The former "MADtv" cast member, who most recently appeared in HBO's "Eastbound & Down" as Russian baseball player Ivan Dochenko, attended The Latin School of Chicago and is an alumnus of ImprovOlympic, The Second City, the Annoyance Theater and Boom Chicago in Amsterdam.
