( Broward Sheriff's Office / January 29, 2013 ) Alci Bonannee, 36, of Fort Lauderdale, was sentenced to more than 26 years in federal prison for her role in an identity theft tax fraud scheme that sought more than $11 million in refunds. The scheme was so convincing that the IRS issued refunds worth about $4.5 million, authorities said. |
