( USHMM collection, gift of Henry Greenbaum / October 19, 2012 ) Henry Greenbaum survived the Starachowice ghetto, was shot in an escape attempt, deported to Auschwitz, and liberated on a death march from Flossenbürg. After the war, he lived in the Zeilsheim displaced persons camp before immigrating to the United States. He now volunteers at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, sharing his story. |
