Society Scene Palm Beach Week of Aug. 1, 2012

In an effort to bring awareness to the Florida Atlantic University (FAU) community about the dangers of tobacco use and secondhand smoke, 25 volunteers recently cleaned up cigarette butts. The cleanup was organized by FAU's Exercise Science and Health Promotion club, along with the American Lung Association in Florida (ALAF) and the Transforming Our Community's Health (TOUCH) initiative.
