1991 - Jenny Premus poured in 28 points to lead four players in double figures as Webster claimed an 83-47 high school girls' basketball victory over Aberdeen Roncalli. Danielle Lesnar added 19 points, Gina Wika 13 and Jeni Bergan 10.
1996 - Missy Bruns scored 14 points and Emily Elsen added 12 as Frederick-Hecla rolled to a 54-41 high school girls' basketball victory over Bristol. Leslie Johnson had a game-high 21 points for Bristol.
2001 - Albert Pujols hit a pair of doubles and drove in three runs and Matt Morris allowed one run over seven innings and struck out 13 to get his 20th victory of the season as the St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 8-2.
2006 - Christina Kusler notched 11 kills and four ace serves and Whitney Joseph added eight kills to lead Aberdeen Central (8-0) to a 3-0 high school volleyball victory over Huron.
2010 - Chad Henne threw a touchdown pass to Brian Hartline, the Miami defense recovered a fumble in the end zone and the Dolphins held on for a 14-10 National Football League victory over the Minnesota Vikings.
