1996 - Theresa Swanhorst scored 32 points to lead three players in double figures as Northwestern rolled to a 79-46 high school girls' basketball victory over Leola. Karey Clemens added 13 points for Northwestern and Abby Helling had 12 points and 11 rebounds.
2001 - Aaron Brooks threw for 209 yards and three touchdowns to lead the New Orleans Saints to a 24-6 National Football League victory over the Buffalo Bills.
2006 - Northern State pounded out 55 kills, led by Odemaris Diaz with 17, Kelsey Aden with 16 and Jill Rasmussen with 10, as the Wolves defeated the University of Mary 3-1 in college volleyball.
2010 - Derek Anderson threw for 297 yards, including a 21-yard TD strike to Larry Fitzgerald with 6:13 left to play that lifted the Arizona Cardinals to a 17-13 National Football League victory over the St. Louis Rams.
