State women: Coppin State tops Savannah State, 57-53, for first MEAC win

Leola Spotwood scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Larrisa Carter added 12 points and 12 rebounds as host Coppin State posted its first Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference victory of the season with a 57-53 victory over Savannah State on Saturday.
