Jordan Hendry scored in the shootout's sixth round Saturday night, giving the Norfolk Admirals a 3-2 victory before 6,919 at Scope that ended the Providence Bruins' five-game winning streak.

The Admirals, hoping to make a push for the AHL playoffs in their first year as an Anaheim Ducks affiliate, pulled even at 2 with 4:26 left in regulation on Brandon McMillan's goal.

Hendry, who has played 239 AHL games, scored on his first career AHL shootout attempt, giving the Admirals a decisive 2-1 edge in the tiebreaker. Winning goalie Frederik Andersen made 37 saves.
