13 - Garrett Embly’s RBI double gives Clear Spring 11-10 win over National in 11-12 championship round.

14 - Clear Spring emerges as District 1 11-12 champ after 13-0 win over National. … West End opens 9-10 state tournament with 7-6 win over Elkton.

16 - West End defeats Brunswick 12-11 in 10-11 state tournament.

19 - Federal 9-10s reach championship round of state tournament with 17-6 win over South Maryland.

20 - Frederal defeats Frederick National 9-5 at 9-10 state tournament.

21 - Washington County Sports Hall of Fame inducts Clayton Anders, Jim Hutson, Ted Brumbaugh. Jimi Massey, Joseph Tischer and Rick Schultz.
