Holy Family 2, Shepherd 1
SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. — Megan Tole scored in the 99th minute to lift Holy Family (1-1) to an overtime win over Shepherd.
Shepherd took a 1-0 lead when Ashley Bryant scored on a header in the 27th minute of the game on an assist from North Hagerstown graduate Kelsey Smith.
Tessa Jones had six saves for the Rams (0-2).

Hawks earn academic honors
Seven Hagerstown Community College track and field athletes earned 2011 NJCAA Academic All-American honors.
They are Joe Edwards, Chaz Nedd, Mike Salguero and Kyle Toms from the men’s team and Samantha Ebersole, Paige Shirk and Samantha Taylor from the women’s team.

Wildcats alumni soccer game
The Williamsport Wildcats will hold an alumni soccer game on Oct. 1, with proceeds being donated to the Washington County CARES organization — which provides, among other things, respite care for caregivers of Alzheimer’s patients.
