Waynesboro (2-2, 1-0) took the lead for good with 26 seconds left in the first quarter. Connor Fetterhoff scored on a 5-yard run and Jesse Smith followed with his first of six extra-point kicks on the night to make it 7-6 Indians.

In the second quarter, Waynesboro took control. Ryan Heinrich returned an interception 23 yards for a score, and touchdown runs of 29 and 6 yards by Adgers put the Indians up 27-6 at halftime.

But the Rockets kept things interesting, at least for a little while. Four minutes later, Martin connected with Darian Hose for 16-yard TD pass to make it 34-20.

For JB, Martin was 3 of 14 passing for 48 yards with five interceptions. Hunter Brown ran for a team-high 32 yards on 10 carries for the Rockets.
