Indoor track: Ward, Moody go distance to lead Hubs

North Hagerstown went the distance for its victories at the Maryland Class 3A West Indoor Track & Field Championships on Wednesday night at Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex.

For the Hubs, Emily Ward won the girls 1,600-meter run in 5:29.49 and finished second to teammate Michey Moody in the 3,200.


Moody won the 3,200 in 12:12.71.

South Hagerstown also competed in the meet.
