Veteran Hagerstown golfer Ken Lampard has everyone right where he likes them — below his name on the leaderboard after the first round of the sixth annual Coors Light Championship on Saturday at Black Rock Golf Course.Lampard worked his way through the 6,650-yard course in windy and rainy conditions to the tune of 2-under-par 70, good for a one-stroke margin over former Williamsport star Andrew Duff’s 71.
Dean Hamburg and Michael Kauffman each shot even-par 72 and they’ll comprise the final foursome in Sunday’s second round.
In the next group, also two behind at 72, are Steve Miguel and Peter Berthold.
