Veteran Hagerstown golfer Ken Lampard has everyone right where he likes them — below his name on the leaderboard after the first round of the sixth annual Coors Light Championship on Saturday at Black Rock Golf Course.

Lampard worked his way through the 6,650-yard course in windy and rainy conditions to the tune of 2-under-par 70, good for a one-stroke margin over former Williamsport star Andrew Duff’s 71.

Dean Hamburg and Michael Kauffman each shot even-par 72 and they’ll comprise the final foursome in Sunday’s second round.

In the next group, also two behind at 72, are Steve Miguel and Peter Berthold.
