BOYS BASKETBALL
FREDERICK, Md. — Kenny McCrary delivered his biggest game of the season, leading North Hagerstown to a 57-52 vicotry over Thomas Johnson on Tuesday.
McCrary scored a season-high 15 points, grabbed 22 rebounds and blocked seven shots.
Guard Max Ober also had a personal best for the season, leading the Hubs (8-4) with 21 points. Andrew Yacyk had nine rebounds and Isaiah Keyes added six assists and six steals.
The difference in the game came in the third quarter, when North outscored the Patriots (7-6) 16-8.

Hunter Sorensen scored 30 points, including three 3-pointers, Ray Fisher had a quadruple-double with 16 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists and 12 steals, Luis Mendoza had 15 points and Arthur Thomas added nine points and 17 rebounds for the Tartans (8-4).
Skyler Gordon hit seven 3-pointers en route to a game-high 38 points for Fulton County. Gordon, a senior, scored his 1,000th career point.

Leopards’ Koterwas commits to Elizabethtown
Smithsburg senior Elyse Koterwas has signed to play for Elizabethtown College, an NCAA Division III program, beginning this fall.
Koterwas earned 2012 Herald-Mail All-County and All-MVAL first-team honors as a midfielder. She scored three goals and assisted on five others, giving her a team-best 11 points.
Elizabethtown went 10-3-6 last season.
