The draws for the MPSSAA boys and girls region soccer tournament brackets were held Monday in Baltimore.

The top four seeds in each region were determined by regular-season winning percentage. The remaining teams in each region were placed on the bracket by a blind draw.

First-round games are scheduled for Friday (although some will be played Thursday), followed by the quarterfinals on Nov. 1. Games will be played at the site of the higher seed.

All of Washington County’s teams are in the West regions.

GIRLS: In 1A West, Clear Spring (10) will play at Southern Garrett (7) on Thursday at 6 p.m. In other first-round action, Hancock (9) will travel to play Fort Hill (8). Boonsboro (3) and Smithsburg (5) received first-round byes. In the quarterfinals, the Warriors will host Allegany (6), while the Leopards play at Mountain Ridge (4).

In the 2A West first round, Williamsport (5) will host Walkersville (12).

In the 3A West first round, North Hagerstown (9) will play at Einstein (8) while South Hagerstown (5) hosts Watkins Mill (12).

BOYS: In the 1A West first round, Boonsboro (8) will host Clear Spring (9) on Thursday at 6 p.m., while Smithsburg (5) received a bye and will play at Allegany (4) in the quarterfinals.

In 2A West, Williamsport (2) received a first-round bye and will host either Poolesville (7) or Oakdale (10) in the quarterfinals.

In the 3A West first round, North Hagerstown (5) and South Hagerstown (6) will both play at home — North vs. Frederick (12) and South vs. Thomas Johnson (11).
