CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — In a tightly contested Mid-Penn Commonwealth game, Chambersburg committed a costly turnover with 16 seconds left, allowing Central Dauphin East (4-8, 2-3) to escape with a 43-42 victory Friday on Eddie Cowan’s only basket of the game, a 3-pointer from the left corner with 2.1 seconds left.
Skyler Roman had a team-high 15 points, including three 3-pointers, while Kyle Patterson had 10 points and Gabe Carson-Rivera had five rebounds for the Trojans (7-3, 3-2).
