WOODSBORO, Md. — Trevor Haupt had three hits and drove in four runs to lead Funkstown to a victory in the Western Maryland District.
Tyeler Presgreaves had two hits and two RBIs, and Aaron Stoner struck out eight to collect the win for Funkstown (6-1, 4-1). Aaron Jones picked up the save.

NORMAN, Okla. — Williamsport’s Connor Arnone had two hits for Team Maryland in a 5-3 loss to unbeaten Texas at the Heartland Baseball Classic.
Maryland (2-3) is in fourth place in the tournament and will play Ohio today at 4 p.m. EST. The game will be streamed live at www.zpreps.com.
