GIRLS BASKETBALL
Heritage Academy 54, Frederick Force 16
FREDERICK, Md. — Callie Butts had 16 points and six steals to lead Heritage Academy past the Frederick Force in the Maryland School for the Deaf Oriole Classic championship game Saturday.
Rachel Clarke had 12 points and nine rebounds for Heritage (8-0) and was named tournament MVP. Butts and Kara Stamper were named to the all-tournament team.

LEWISBURG, Pa. — Hagerstown Community College earned a pair of fifth-place finishes at Saturday’s Bucknell University mini-meet.
Rodney Flora finished fifth in the men’s 200-meter dash in 24.46 seconds, while Whitney Murphy was fifth in the women’s 60-meter dash in 8.46 seconds.
