Enechionyia's triple-double powers Saint James to win

LEONARDTOWN, Md. — Obi Enechionyia recorded his third straight triple-double with 15 points, 15 rebounds and 10 blocks to lift Saint James to a 72-57 victory over St. Mary’s Ryken on Saturday afternoon.

Enechionyia was one of five players in double figures for the Saints (7-5). Fred Slater and Avery Wilmore each scored 17 points, Emmett Orfan had 11 points and Nnamdi Enechionyia finished with 10 points.

NEWBURG, Pa. — Mark and Matthew Hatlemen each scored 19 points to lift Mowersville Christian Academy over Fulton County Community Christian School.

Sklyer Gordon finished with a game-high 31 points and a team-high nine rebounds for Fulton County. Nathaniel Gingerich had 17 points and six assists.

Storm’s San Fillippo wins title

POTTSTOWN, Pa. — Mercersburg Academy’s John San Fillippo continued his undefeated season by going 3-0 at The Hill School’s Bissell Invitational to win the 220-pound weight class.

Also for Mercersburg, Vini Nobrega (113 pounds), Samil Isik (120) and Alex Kelley (195) each placed second, and Brooks Lucier (145), Will Applemen (152), Ben Dupont (170) and David Bowes (285) each placed third.

Gussio shines for Mount

ANNAPOLIS — Mount St. Mary’s freshman Coby Gussio, a 2011 Boonsboro graduate, placed third in the 200-meter dash in 22.25 seconds Saturday at the Navy Invitional indoor track and field meet.

Gussio earned Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week honors after winning the long jump with a leap of 22 feet, 3 1/2 inches in a meet last week at Bucknell.
