BOYS BASKETBALL

ST. JAMES — Avery Wilmore had six 3-pointers en route to a game-high 34 points to lead Saint James to a 99-69 win over St. John’s Catholic Prep on Wednesday.

Wilmore flirted with a triple-double and finished with eight rebounds and 10 assists for the Saints (10-7).

Obi Enechionyia had a double-double with 26 points and 10 rebounds, Nnamdi Enechionyia also had a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds, and Emmett Orfan had 10 points for Saint James.

Valley Junior/Senior registration

Valley Little League will hold registration for its Junior and Senior divisions (ages 13 to 17) Feb. 9 and 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Feb. 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church, 21002 Twin Springs Drive in Chewsville.

Players who live in the National and American districts are eligible. All new and returning players must provide birth certificate and three proofs of residency.
