GIRLS BASKETBALL
HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. — Kristen Nunn and Bianca Creamer scored 18 points each for Hedgesville in a 51-42 victory over Musselman in the West Virginia Class AAA Region II Section 1 semifinals on Wednesday.
Carly Elliott had 14 points, Tyana Monette had seven rebounds and Lexi Taylor added six rebounds for the Eagles (17-6).
Brianna Caison had 17 points and Nichole Henderson added 14 for the Applemen (13-11).
Hedgesville will host Martinsburg (14-7) — a winner over Hampshire in the other semifinal — in the championship game Friday night at 7.

Goretti free goalkeeping clinic
St. Maria Goretti boys soccer coach Tristan Longnecker will lead a free goalkeeping clinic for soccer players on teams ranging in ages from U10 to U19 on March 3 at the Hagerstown Soccer Complex on Cearfoss Pike.
