PREP BASEBALL
ELDERSBURG, Md. — Tyler Nally had two hits and two RBIs to lead Williamsport to a 5-4 victory over top-seeded Liberty (14-4) in the Maryland Class 2A West region quarterfinals.
In the fifth, Nally hit a two-run triple to give Williamsport a 4-3 lead, and the Wildcats added an insurance run in the sixth.
Brandon Greene had two hits and an RBI and Zach Lucas and Riley Arnone each had an RBI for the Wildcats (11-9).
Williamsport will play today’s Poolesville-South Carroll winner in the semifinals Thursday, with site and time to be decided.

Brock Heiston, Devin Baker and Ryan Bolton had two hits each and James Shifler had a double and scored the lone run for the Leopards (4-18).
