Hood signs Smithsburg’s Andrukat
FREDERICK, Md. — Hood College announced the signing of Smithsburg graduate Alexis Andrukat to its 2012-’13 roster on Thursday.
Andrukat helped the Leopards win MVAL Antietam titles in 2009-10 and 2010-11 and is a two-time Herald-Mail All-County second-team honoree. She earned All-MVAL Antietam first-team honors in 2011-’12 after averaging 8.5 points, 5.3 assists and 2.9 steals per game.
