FREDERICK, Md. — Martin Geben had a monster game with 34 points, 16 rebounds and six steals to lead St. Maria Goretti past New Life Christian 92-34 on Tuesday.

Geben made 13 of 18 shots from the floor and 8 of 8 from the foul line for Goretti (3-1). Tyrus Fleetwood had 16 points and Isaiah Harris-Winn added 10.

Connor Brown led New Life (0-1) with 22 points.

10K in Chambersburg on Saturday

The first 10K Christmas Cash Dash will be held Saturday morning in Chambersburg, Pa. The 6.2-mile run starts at 8:30 a.m. at the First Church of God at 2230 Grand Point Rd. BRIEF

HCC track & field clinic

Hagerstown Community College will hold a track and field clinic on Sunday, with morning and afternoon sessions and a lunch provided.

Various coaches will provide instruction for sprints, hurdles, pole vault, long jump, triple jump, high jump and shot put. Athletes ages 12 and up (14 and up for pole vault) can participate in the clinics. Space is limited.
