Miesha Adams had 17 points and nine rebounds to lead Hagerstown Community College past Potomac State.

Kristine Mstowski had 13 points, Katie Connelly had 12 points, Katie Sprecher had a double double with 11 points and 12 rebounds, and Sasha Orr added six assists and six steals for the Hawks (3-6).

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. — Austin Cunningham scored a team-high 19 points and dished out a game-high five assists to lead Shepherd past Shippensburg.

Brantley Osborne and Morgan McDonald each had 16 points for the Rams (5-1).

Tony Ellis scored a game-high 26 points for the Red Raiders (2-4).

Shepherd’s Desta, Lowery get all-region honors

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. — Shepherd University senior defender Robel Desta and senior forward Shane Lowery were recently named to the 2012 National Soccer Coaches of America (NSCAA) Division II All-Atlantic Region team.

Desta gained first-team honors, the first Ram to do so since 2002. He anchored a defense that had nine shutouts.
