WAYNESBORO, Pa. — Waynesboro went on 22-2 run in the third quarter to rally back from a 16-point halftime deficit and take a four-point lead, but could not maintain the momentum in a Mid-Penn Colonial loss to Shippensburg on Wednesday.
Shaquill Smith had 19 points and three steals, Seth Hoffman made four 3-pointers for 12 points, Tim Ingram had seven rebounds, Cole Warrenfeltz had three steals and Ryan Kelley added four assists for the Indians (2-4, 1-3).

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Hanson County’s offensive and defensive pressure in the first quarter knocked Hedgesville out of its game, leading to a loss in the opening round of the eight-team Y.C. Wynborn Classic.
Hanson’s defense bothered the Eagles (3-3) and pushed them into a 17-4 deficit after the first quarter. Hanson played an uptempo game to force the issue.
Hedgesville closed within a possession of the lead in the second half, but went cold again and started to turn the ball over.
Carly Elliott led Hedgesville with nine points, while Lexi Taylor added eight points and eight rebounds.
Keyanne McCray led Hanson (4-1) with 11 points.
