MEN’S BASKETBALL
WALDORF, Md. — Antonio Jenifer scored 35 points and Hagerstown Community College overcame 10 3-pointers by the College of Southern Maryland in a 101-98 Maryland JuCo Conference win on Wednesday.
Jenifer added 11 rebounds and three blocks for the Hawks (21-2, 8-1), who are ranked 12th in this week’s NJCAA Division I poll. Jenifer is two points shy of 1,000 for his career.
Kervin Rameau had 19 points, nine rebounds, three assists and four steals, Christian Leach had 16 points and Donte Thomas had nine points, six rebounds and 17 assists for the Hawks, who were 24 of 33 from the charity stripe.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
HCC 77, Southern Maryland 45
WALDORF, Md. — Sasha Orr had 24 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists to lead Hagerstown past College of Southern Maryland in the Maryland JuCo Conference.
Deidre Burch had 15 points, three assists and three steals, Kristine Mstowski had 11 points and Katie Sprecher had seven points and 10 rebounds for the Hawks (9-12, 5-5), who led 33-23 at the half.

North Hagerstown 84, Catoctin 41
Kenny McCrary had 19 points and 11 rebounds to lead North Hagerstown to an MVAL Antietam victory over Catoctin.
Isaiah Keyes had 13 points, Daryus Reynolds had eight points and nine rebounds, and J.Q. Gantt had eight points, five assists, and five steals for the Hubs (13-4, 9-2), who have won eight straight games. Max Ober added four assists.
Alex Kennedy led Catoctin (1-14, 1-10) with 15 points.

SEVERN, Md. — Tyrus Fleetwood had 18 points, two assists and five steals for St. Maria Goretti in a Baltimore Catholic League loss to Archbishop Spalding (18-7, 7-3).
Goretti trailed 36-22 at the half but went on a 16-6 third quarter run to cut the lead to 42-38 heading into the fourth quarter.
Martin Geben had 17 points for the Gaels (16-9, 5-6).

After trailing 33-31 at the end of the third, Chambersburg outscored Central Dauphin 18-9 in a decisive fourth quarter.
Devonte Charles had 14 points and Kellen Williams had nine points and three steals for the Trojans.
