Ht: 6-3 Wt: 215 Class: 2012 Recruiting Buzz: A late addition to Florida¿s board, Mornhinweg changed his commitment from Penn State after also considering Virginia Tech. One factor? His father, Eagles¿ offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg, played at Montana with new Florida offensive coordinator Brent Pease. Although Florida didn¿t heavily recruit him until Pease came on board, it was enough to change his mind. Warminster (Pa.) Archbishop Wood TE Colin Thompson, a Florida commit, was on the same visit to Florida as Mornhinweg in late January and expected the QB to flip. Mornhinweg, who had previously committed to Stanford, is the only quarterback in the class and will give Florida four scholarship players at the position in the spring. Rankings Rivals: NR.
