CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.—
Louisiana Tech starting running back Tevin King will miss the rest of the season because of a knee injury.
The University of Virginia hosts Louisiana Tech at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
King was ranked eighth nationally in rushing, averaging 118 yards per game. He already scored five touchdowns.
King tore his ACL during the Bulldogs' 52-24 win over Illinois last Saturday.
Louisiana Tech has three other running backs on its roster with extensive experience -- senior Ray Holley, sophomore Hunter Lee, and freshman Kenneth Dixon. Walk-on Brandon Davis also saw time last week.
