Bethel alum and Argos graduate Eric Stults will make his White Sox debut Monday night.

Sox manager Robin Ventura announced that Stults will start the second game of Monday's doubleheader against the Cleveland Indians, after being promoted from Triple-A Charlotte.

Under new rules of baseball's Collective Bargaining Agreement, rosters can be expanded to 26 players for doubleheaders. Stults replaces pitcher Dylan Axelrod, who was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte after taking the loss Sunday against the Tigers. Axelrod threw 99 pitches in 4 1/3 innings, allowing two runs.

Adding an interesting twist to the Sox's upcoming series with the Indians is that fellow Bethel alum Justin Masterson will start for Cleveland on Tuesday.

Bethel said this is the first time two alums will pitch in the same MLB series.
