Clark: Martha C. Milbrant (Graves) Flatten, 91, of Clark and formerly of Westport and Aberdeen, died on Aug. 10, 2011. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at 11 a.m. in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clark. Burial will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery in Clark.
Survivors include husband, Floyd Flatten of Clark; children: Janice (Barry) Grote of Crystal Lake, Ill., Gary (Joan) Graves of Omaha, Neb., Linda (Thomas) Hardin of Las Vegas, Nev., Jeanette (Conrad) Hottman of Houston, Texas; stepchildren: Lanny (Donna) Flatten of Crocker, Sharon Bjerke, Denny (Pat) Flatten and Rick (Patsy) Flatten, all of Clark; sister, Matilda “Hun” Roberdeau of Watertown; 27 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Elaine Milbrandt of Aberdeen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Amanda Milbrandt; husband, Frank Graves; stepson, David Flatten; siblings, Emma (Henry) Grieben, Elmer, Alma and Ray (Ethel) Milbrant and Rita (Virgil) Karpen; and brother-in-law, Leo Roberdeau.
Visitation will be on Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Furness Funeral Home in Clark and after 9 a.m. at the church on Saturday morning.
