MORELAND — James T. Laswell, 57, of Moreland, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2012.  

Born Sept. 18, 1954, he was the son of the late Henry Lee and Bessie Abney Laswell. He was raised by his sister, Faye, and her husband, the late Jerry Seay. 

James was an avid antique and knife collector and trader. He previously owned 127 Gun and Pawn Shop in Harrodsburg.

Survivors include his wife, LaVon Allen Laswell; a daughter, Jana Laswell; a brother, David Laswell of Mount Vernon; and three sisters, Faye Seay and Edna Burton, both of Danville, and Vinna Kaye Bullock of Mount Vernon.  

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. David Smith. Burial will be in Sandidge-McGirr Cemetery.  

Pallbearers will be Erik Johnson, Kelly and Jason Seay and Frankie, Roland and David Lee Laswell. Honorary pallbearers are Dale and Ronnie Allen, Terry Owens, Stan Petry, Doug Harmon and Marvin Wilson.  

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday.
