Burgin matched its highest victory total in 71 years by beating Eminence 63-37 in its regular-season finale Friday at Burgin.
Austin Shewmaker, one of five seniors playing in the final home game for them and retiring coach Don Irvine, scored a game-high 22 points and Alex Beckerson scored his 1,000th career point for the Bulldogs.
Burgin improved to 22-8, equaling the victory total for the 1940-41 season, the winningest year in the school’s records.
The Bulldogs shot 65 percent (22 for 34) from the field, and they led the Warriors (7-21) by more than 20 points for most of the second half.
Shewmaker hit two 3-point goals to help them open a 14-9 lead in the first quarter and finished 7 for 8 from the field and also had six rebounds.
Beckerson, who scored his 1,000th point in the third quarter, had 10 points and eight rebounds, Travis McEachern had eight assists and Jared Robbins had four steals for the Bulldogs.
North Oldham 47, Boyle County 40 — At Danville, North Oldham (19-10) shot 53 percent from the field to beat Boyle (9-15), which shot just 33 percent.
Kyle Rice had 18 points and five rebounds for the Rebels, and Michael Arnett had eight rebounds.
The Mustangs went 15 for 28 from the field, while Boyle, which lost for only the second time in seven games, was 15 for 45.
East Jessamine 89, Danville 64 — At Danville, Tryston Ford scored 34 points in his final home game for Danville (12-14), which couldn’t recover after falling behind East Jessamine (25-4) early.
Jawan Grey added 10 points for the Admirals.
Thirteen players scored for the Jaguars, who won their 14th straight game.
Saline Christian 45, Danville Christian 42 — At Harrodsburg, DCA (13-10) shot just 30 percent in a loss to Somerset-based Saline (34-3).
The Warriors led 11-5 after one quarter but fell behind by halftime.
Daniel Crall scored 15 points, Josh Asmus had 13 points and Zach Tarter had nine rebounds for DCA, which was 18 for 60 from the field and 1 for 8 from the foul line.

Girls

Mercer County 62, Southwestern 33 — At Harrodsburg, Savannah Taylor scored 29 points and Taylor Readnower added 16 as Mercer (24-5) matched the school record for regular-season wins by routing Southwestern (20-8).
Readnower had five 3-pointers in the Titans’ senior-night win, while classmates Taylor had 12 rebounds and Cawood Dedman had 10 assists and five steals.
Mercer shot 49 percent (23 for 47) and hit seven of 20 3-point shots.
The Titans broke the game open by outscoring the Warriors 22-5 in the third quarter to take a 47-22 lead.
Danville 79, North Laurel 62 — At Danville, the Admirals (20-6) outscored North Laurel 50-29 in the second half to earn the win in their regular-season finale.
Kasey Young poured in a career-high 36 points for Danville, which trailed 33-29 at the half before exploding in the second.
“I was pleased with the way Kasey took it to the basket and hit her free throws. That makes her a completely different player,” Danville coach Judie Mason.
Laken Grey had 14 points and Essence Grey had 13 points for the Admirals, who lead 50-46 after three quarters.

Galilean Christian 47, LIGHT 37 — At Liberty, LIGHT (24-11) fell behind early and couldn’t recover in a loss to Galilean (25-5).
Cameron Owens scored 16 points, David Stoltzfus had 10 rebounds and Macklin Hamilton had six assists for the Eagles, who couldn’t catch up after Galilean went into a stall in the fourth quarter.
