Austin Sebastian scored 16 points and Clayton Ray added 15 as Garrard County earned its second straight win Thursday with a 56-42 win at Burgin.
The Golden Lions (5-21) led just 42-39 with 5:45 to play, then went on a 14-0 run to put the game out of reach. Garrard led 25-22 at the half and 38-33 after three quarters.

Nick Beckerson had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds for Burgin (9-16), Mason Myers had 14 points and Alex Beckerson added 11.
Garrard was 19 of 47 from the floor, 3-for-10 from 3-point range, and made 15 of 28 free throws. Led by Sebastian’s seven boards, Garrard outrebounded Burgin 22-19.
Burgin finished 14 of 34 shooting,going 2 of 10 from 3-point range and 12 of 20 at the line.

Walden 53, Kentucky School f/t Deaf 31 — At Louisville, the Colonels (5-21) ended the regular season with their 10th straight loss at Walden.
Valdin Kudic had a career-high 11 points to go with nine rebounds and two steals and Adam Turner had 11 rebounds and six points. KSD¿was just 12 of 57 from the floor, 1 of 18 from 3-point range, and had 23 turnovers.

Danville Christian Academy 61, Berea Christian 26 — At Harrodsburg, Josh Asmus had 16 points, four steals and five assists to lead the Warriors over visiting Berea Christian.
Caleb Tarter had 11 points, Daniel Crall scored 10 and Landon Sears had seven points and eight rebounds for DCA, which led 26-12 at the half and 46-19 after three quarters.
The Warriors were 26 of 45 from the floor (58 percent) and went 4 of 12 at the free throw line.

Girls
Mercer County 63, Southwestern 42 — At Somerset, the Titans (22-8) opened up a double-digit lead on the host Warriors (17-11) after a quarter and never looked back for the easy road win.
Cassidy Martin had 26 points, Catheryne Claunch had 15 points, six rebounds and four assists and Heidi Huffman added 14 points and four assists for Mercer, which led 38-23 at the half and 55-35 after three quarters.
“This was really a solid game for us. It was a great way to end the regular season, with four solid quarters. We really shot the ball well,” Mercer coach Chris Souder sad. “Southwestern is one of the better shooting teams in the region and we did a good job defensively extending out on them. So I was real proud of the kids tonight.”
Mercer held Southwestern guard Allison Corder, who was averaging 21 points per game, to just three points.
The Titans were 25 of 51 from the field, making 10 of 19 3-pointers, and went 3 of 3 at the line. Raegan Freeman also had four assists for Mercer.

Boyle County 56, Madison Southern 37 — At Berea, the Rebels (14-12) led 32-11 at the half and cruised over host Madison Southern.
Chelsea Gill had 18 points and eight rebounds, Hannah Harris hit three 3-pointers and scored 13 points and Marlee Smith had nine points for Boyle, which led 39-24 after three quarters. The Rebels were 9 of 13 at the line.

Danville 64, George Rogers Clark 50 — At Danville, Kasey Young scored 23 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the Admirals (17-9) to a senior night win over the Cardinals (11-16).
